Thandekile was born in Bulawayo; her name captures the adoration of her mother for giving birth to girl. She grew up in the slum township of St Marys, were the vagaries of poverty and social ills, deeply affected her. This background shaped her passion for helping women, children and the disadvaged.Her early days at school were at Shingayi primary school, Zengeza 4 high and doing her A level at Zengeza 1 high. A holder of Political Science degree and a Post –Graduate qualification in Media and Communication. Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Media and Communication with Midlands State University. An avid reader with flair for current affairs and hard news. Married and a mother of four children
